Much better. Thank you.

Well when I wrote that last post, about 10 minutes ago, I was feeling pretty lousy. But now? I'm better, much better. What changed? I read this, Richard G. Scott's talk from the last general conference on The Transforming Power of Faith and Character. It literally brought tears to my eyes as I was reminded of several truths. I had to restrain myself from copy and pasting the entire talk. Here's just a few quotes, but please, please go and read it for your self. You won't regret it.

This mortal life is a proving ground. How well you meet its challenges determines how strong your character will be
...
Be thankful that sometimes God lets you struggle for a long time before that answer comes. That causes your faith to increase and your character to grow.
...
Trust in God and in His willingness to provide help when needed, no matter how challenging the circumstance
...
As you walk to the boundary of your understanding into the twilight of uncertainty, exercising faith, you will be led to find solutions you would not obtain otherwise.
...
A strong testimony gives peace, comfort, and assurance. It generates the conviction that as the teachings of the Savior are consistently obeyed, life will be beautiful, the future will be secure, and there will be capacity to overcome the challenges that cross our path.
...
We become what we want to be by CONSISTENTLY being what we want to become each day.
...

Don't become discouraged... You are making better progress than you realize.
